Wolverhampton, England — Four men of Indian descent have been arrested following a violent altercation that resulted in three injuries. Authorities from West Midlands Police reported that they responded to multiple reports of armed unrest involving bladed weapons in the area.
The police detained six individuals in total, with two later released on bail. The men facing charges include Hardeep Singh, 28, from Hounslow, Harpeet Singh, 25, from Leicester, Mukesh Kumar, 30, from Wolverhampton, and Lakwinder Singh, 26, from Smethwick. Each has been charged with violent disorder, wounding, and possession of offensive weapons. They are expected to appear in Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The incident unfolded Friday morning, during which officers apprehended two of the suspects with the assistance of a police dog. Three people were hospitalized as a result of the confrontation, though their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police have intensified patrols in the area and are treating the violence as an isolated event. Detective Inspector Adam Keen stated that investigators have begun collecting evidence, including speaking with witnesses and reviewing CCTV footage. He urged anyone with additional information to come forward.
Local video surveillance captured a chaotic scene on Arbour Drive in Bilston, showing hooded individuals with weapons surrounding a white Ford car. The footage depicts the attackers breaking windows and forcibly dragging a man from the vehicle during the assault.

Police maintain a stern presence in the community to ensure public safety while they continue their inquiries.
