Murshidabad, India – A violent incident in the Jafarganj area of Murshidabad district on April 12 resulted in the tragic deaths of Hargovind Das and his son Chandan Das during protests related to the Waqf law. Eyewitness reports state that an angry mob forcibly removed the father and son from their home and brutally attacked them with sharp weapons.
