SEATTLE, WA – A violent incident in Seattle’s Rainier Valley has resulted in two fatalities, as police continue to investigate the early morning shooting. The tragic event unfolded around 3:30 a.m. near the Capri Hookah Lounge, an area recently marred by violence.
Seattle police responded quickly to a call about gunshots and discovered a man shot dead behind the lounge. Moments later, a confrontation between the shooter and a security guard at the lounge led to the guard being shot multiple times. Despite being rushed to Harborview Medical Center, he did not survive.
Police Chief Adrian Diaz emphasized the department’s commitment to enhancing security in the area, announcing plans for increased patrols. “We are focused on deploying our resources to ensure community safety,” he remarked.
Information about the suspect and victims is sparse, with authorities confirming the victims were men in their 20s. The police are actively seeking help from the public, particularly any surveillance footage that might provide clues.
