The incident occurred shortly after 8:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Dayton Street, sparking concern among residents in the area.
Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. The juvenile victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
