Key details about injuries, suspects and arrests were not immediately released.
ORLANDO, Fla. — A reported shooting near a northwest Orlando community facility drew police to W D Judge Drive on Saturday evening, starting an investigation that remained limited in public detail overnight.
Officers responded to the 3900 block of W D Judge Drive before 6 p.m., according to police information reported by WESH 2. Authorities confirmed the investigation but did not immediately say whether anyone had been shot, hospitalized or taken into custody.
The scene was near the Northwest Neighborhood Center, a city facility listed at 3955 W D Judge Drive. The location serves residents through recreation and community programming. Police had not said whether the center itself was part of the investigation.
Video and photos from the area showed officers and yellow tape as investigators worked. No official report released Saturday night identified a victim, suspect, weapon, vehicle or motive. Police also had not announced a public briefing or next scheduled update.
The investigation adds another case to Orlando’s active public safety workload. The W D Judge Drive corridor has seen prior police responses, but authorities had not linked Saturday’s reported shooting to any earlier incident.
Detectives were expected to continue reviewing the scene, checking for witnesses and gathering evidence. The case remained open as of Sunday, with basic facts still pending from the Orlando Police Department.
