OLATHE, Kan. – Authorities in Olathe, Kansas have identified the victim of a fatal shooting last Friday as 15-year-old Brianna Rachelle Higgins of Lawrence. The Olathe Police Department is currently conducting a homicide investigation in connection with the case.
Higgins was rushed to a hospital late Friday night from an apartment complex near W. 127th and S. Mur Len, where she later succumbed to her gunshot wounds. The Olathe Medical Center staff alerted the police after her arrival, but unfortunately, they were unable to save her life.
