HOUSTON (AP) – A Houston woman has pleaded guilty to murdering her boyfriend and has been sentenced to 22 years in prison. Shataraca Denise Pervis admitted to stabbing her 34-year-old boyfriend Melvin Maxwell to death at a hotel in the Galleria area in January 2018.
