Notorious Gangster Goldy Brar Fakes Death After Shooting Incident in California – Police Confirm Rumors False

Fresno, California – Goldy Brar, a notorious gangster previously believed to have been killed in a shooting incident in California, has been confirmed to be alive. Fresno Police Lieutenant William J Dooley addressed the misinformation circulating on social media and online news outlets, clarifying that the victim of the shooting is not Goldy Brar. This clarification comes after widespread reports from Indian media outlets alleging Brar’s death due to his involvement in the murder of Punjabi rapper Sidhu Moosewala.

Born in Punjab in 1994, Goldy Brar has been labeled a terrorist by India following Moosewala’s murder in 2022. The Indian Home Ministry suspects Brar’s affiliation with the Babbar Khalsa terrorist organization, known to operate in Canada. After relocating to Canada on a student visa in 2017 and permanently settling there in 2021, Brar assumed control of criminal activities previously overseen by gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, currently incarcerated in India. These illicit operations include contract killings and extortion schemes.

In response to an Interpol notice issued against him in 2022, Brar reportedly relocated to the United States. Tragically, Goldy Brar’s cousin Gurlal Brar fell victim to a fatal attack outside a nightclub in Chandigarh last year, attributed to Bishnoi’s gang seeking retaliation for the death of Youth Congress leader Gurlal Pahalwan.

The intricate web of criminal connections and violent retribution surrounding Goldy Brar underscores the complexities of international gang affiliations and the global reach of organized crime. Despite attempts to clarify his status, Brar’s criminal notoriety continues to draw public attention and speculation, highlighting the ongoing challenges faced by law enforcement agencies in combatting transnational criminal networks.
