Star, Idaho – A man from Star, Idaho has been sentenced to 45 years in prison for a brutal attack on a former partner. 47-year-old Matthew Blazek received his sentence after being found guilty by an Ada County jury on charges including rape, use of a deadly weapon, forcible penetration, domestic violence, and attempted strangulation.
The incident occurred in July 2023 when Blazek broke into his former girlfriend’s home through a window.
