Two men were wounded after a white sedan pulled alongside the vehicle and opened fire.
MIRAMAR, Fla. — A 21-year-old South Florida influencer was killed and two men were wounded early Sunday when gunfire struck a lime green Lamborghini Urus in a Miramar neighborhood, police said.
Brianna Johnson, known online as DreamDoll Brii and ItGirlBri, died after the shooting near Southwest 27th Court and Sunshine Boulevard. Police said the two men in the Lamborghini were taken to Miramar Regional Hospital. Their names were not released.
Miramar police said officers responded around 5:30 a.m. after ShotSpotter alerts reported gunfire in the area. Investigators said the Lamborghini was headed west when a white sedan pulled up on the driver’s side and someone opened fire. The Lamborghini continued through the intersection before crashing near a home.
Surveillance video from the area appeared to show the moment shots were fired and the Lamborghini drifting after the attack. Police said all three people inside the vehicle were hit. Johnson later died from her injuries. One of the injured men was reported in critical condition, and another had serious injuries.
Police Chief Delrish Moss said the shooting appeared to target the car, not the wider neighborhood. “This is no way to wake up on a Sunday morning,” Moss said. He said investigators were trying to determine why the Lamborghini was attacked and whether the victims had been followed.
The shooting happened during the Fourth of July holiday weekend, when some neighbors first thought the gunfire was fireworks. Carlos Regueiro, who lives nearby, said the violence was unsettling for residents who expected a quiet holiday morning.
Johnson had built a large following on Instagram and TikTok, where fans posted tributes after her death. Police had not announced an arrest or named a suspect by Monday night. Detectives continued reviewing video and seeking information about the white sedan.
The case remains under investigation, with police focused on the vehicle seen beside the Lamborghini and the events leading up to the shooting.
