Indiana, Shopping Center Shooter, Shot Dead By Armed Samaritan

Multiple law enforcement agents answered the scene.

No less than four individuals, including the shooter, are dead, and others are harmed following shots at a shopping center in suburbia of Indianapolis, as per nearby reports.

Greenwood Chief James Ison said, a good Samaritan with a handgun at the scene killed the shooter. He said two others were injured and are being treated in area medical clinics.

The shooter has just been identified as an adult. Police said he had a long rifle and a few magazines of ammo.

Officials answered a call concerning an active shooter at the Greenwood Park Mall in Greenwood, Indiana, soon after 6 p.m.

Emergency services appeared on the scene while cops attempted to secure the scene.

Indianapolis police and other authorities were helping the Greenwood police with getting out of the shopping center and clearing the scene. Police later said there was no continuous danger.
