Giuliani also explained that in the 1980s, he was requested to prosecute a case that he believed was politically influenced and told the people asking him to do so to go to hell. Giuliani said it’s the worst thing that could happen in the criminal justice system, and it’s how great democracies usually end when the prosecution system is used for political purposes. This kind of event ends civilizations, as seen from historical accounts.
On Saturday, Trump said on his Truth Social page that he anticipates his arrest on Tuesday in a case brought forward by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.
On Sunday, Giuliani said that billionaire George Soros had purposefully put corrupt prosecutors in major cities nationwide to undermine the criminal justice system’s integrity.
This organization, Giuliani claimed, dismissed the cases against the rioters, presided over one of the most significant crime waves in American history, and was responsible for the senseless deaths of many Americans, including many young black Americans. George Soros, who also contributed heavily to Biden’s campaign and was involved in selecting Kamala Harris, is the sole benefactor.
He continued by saying that the United States was no different from East Germany in the 1970s. A country becomes fascist when political prisoners are tried in court.
Former Vice President Mike Pence has also spoken out against the potential arrest of former President Donald Trump, stating that such a step would be politically motivated.
In an interview on Sunday, Pence was asked about the possible arrest, and he replied that it seemed like a politically charged case. And he thinks it’s not what the people of the United States want to see.
According to Pence, the Manhattan District Attorney’s belief that indicting President Trump is his top priority is a surprise, given the current crime wave in New York City.
Former Vice President Pence has spoken out in defense of Trump supporters’ ability to demonstrate in the event of a potential arrest, provided they do so peacefully and lawfully.
It is also not a coincidence that the talk of Trump’s impending indictment comes as House Oversight Committee Chairman, Republican James Comer of Kentucky, has laid out his case over the past two months concerning the Biden family’s connections with China.
