23-Year-Old Arrested in Connection to 2023 Salt Lake City Homicide: Police Chief Emphasizes Public Safety

Salt Lake City, Utah – A 23-year-old man was arrested by the Salt Lake City Police Department in connection to a shooting that claimed the life of 22-year-old Halapaini Moala. The suspect, Molitoni Vainuku, was apprehended and charged with murder, being booked into the Salt Lake County Metro Jail.
