Hundreds Unite in Bondi for Candlelight Vigil Following Bondi Junction Tragedy

Sydney, Australia – NSW Police Inspector Amy Scott made a public appearance on Sunday night in Bondi for a candlelight vigil honoring the victims of the recent Bondi Junction violent attack that shook the community. The tragedy claimed the lives of Yixuan Cheng, Pikria Darchia, Ashlee Good, Dawn Singleton, Faraz Tahir, and Jade Young, bringing grief and shock to many.

Inspector Scott’s heroic actions in single-handedly stopping the attacker, Joel Cauchi, from causing further harm were honored by attendees at the vigil, which included Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, NSW Premier Chris Minns, and other prominent figures.
