Elderly Woman Knocked Unconscious in Violent LAX Road Rage Incident: Suspect on the Loose

Los Angeles, California – Authorities are on the lookout for a 38-year-old man involved in a violent road rage incident that occurred at Los Angeles International Airport, leaving an elderly woman unconscious in the middle of the street. The disturbing encounter, captured on LAX surveillance cameras, took place on May 31 before 9:30 a.m., as per the Los Angeles Police Department’s Pacific-LAX Division.

In the video footage, two men engaged in a physical altercation related to a road rage incident ran off the sidewalk toward the woman’s vehicle, striking her in the head. The impact caused the woman to fall unconscious, sustaining severe injuries. The elderly victim was then rushed to the hospital in critical condition by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics. Although she has been discharged from the hospital, details about the extent of her injuries remain undisclosed.

Detective Scott Danielson of the LAPD emphasized the severity of the situation, urging the public to assist in identifying the individuals involved. He expressed shock over the lack of aid provided by the assailants after the assault, noting that the victim could easily be someone’s mother or grandmother.

One of the suspects, identified as a shirtless man in the surveillance footage, surrendered to authorities and was subsequently arrested. However, the search continues for the other man, identified as Jasan Givens Sr. The suspect is known to drive a silver Chevrolet sedan with a license plate number 5UAL384, displaying visible damage to the front passenger door.
