Klein, who is currently recovering in the hospital with a severely bruised face and a wired jaw, recounted the harrowing experience of the April 6 assault. She expressed that her attacker tried to kill her by knocking out her two front teeth during the incident.
Recalling the terrifying encounter, Klein described how she was simply enjoying an evening walk, a routine after work, when she was suddenly knocked to the ground. Despite feeling like she had been hit by a truck, Klein lost consciousness and only realized the severity of her injuries after waking up at home. She eventually returned to work the following day, unaware of the extent of her injuries until experiencing a bad bleed later on.
Following Klein’s assault, another woman was attacked in the same area just an hour later. The Los Angeles police recently announced the arrest of 29-year-old Anthony Jones as the identified assailant in both attacks, which were believed to be random.
