Violent Attack Leads to Arrest of 24-Year-Old Man in San Bernardino County

Chino Hills, California – A 24-year-old man from San Bernardino County is facing charges of kidnapping, assault, and robbery after a violent altercation with a female victim. Robert Michael Lockwood-Stinson of Chino Hills was arrested following the incident, which left the woman with significant injuries.

The violent attack occurred on May 7th after an argument between Lockwood-Stinson and the victim escalated into physical violence. According to a news release from the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department, the suspect took the victim’s phone, wallet, and cellphone before forcing her into his vehicle.

Despite the victim’s attempts to escape, Lockwood-Stinson physically restrained her and threatened her with further harm if she tried to get away. He then drove the victim to her residence. The woman was eventually able to report the incident to deputies at the Chino Hills Police Station.

Following the report, investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Lockwood-Stinson. He was taken into custody near his residence on May 8th and booked at the West Valley Detention Center. The nature of the relationship between the suspect and the victim remains undisclosed at this time.
