Stockport, England – A chilling Snapchat video captured the brutal assault and robbery of a helpless shop worker by a group of hooded assailants in Stockport, England. The horrifying footage, shared on social media, showed the staff member being punched, kicked, and stomped on while cowering behind the counter at a petrol station on Wellington Road South during the early hours of July 29, 2021.

The video ultimately led authorities to the perpetrators of the heinous attack – Kausar Amin, Bradley Maphosa, Tyler Garforth, and Riley Richardson. The assailants were seen threatening the shop worker from the forecourt before forcibly entering the petrol station, violently attacking the man behind the counter, and stealing £600 worth of stock.

Detective Constable Lucy Williams expressed satisfaction in bringing the perpetrators to justice, acknowledging the victim’s bravery during the traumatic event. She emphasized the importance of public assistance in securing evidence that facilitated the prosecution of the offenders, ensuring they were held accountable for their actions.

As part of their sentences, Garforth was mandated to perform 200 hours of unpaid work, participate in rehabilitation activities, and adhere to a nightly curfew, while Richardson was required to undergo alcohol treatment, perform unpaid work, and engage in rehabilitation activities.
