NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A 19-year-old teenager has been charged with criminal homicide after the body of a 20-year-old man was discovered on Christmas Eve in East Nashville, according to the Metro Nashville police.
Jamerius Rhodes was arrested for the murder of Mack Lewis on Pennington Avenue. Police believe robbery may have been the motive, as text messages between the two revealed plans to meet around the time of the shooting.
Lewis was found shot in a car in the 2600 block of Pennington Ave just before 10 a.m. on Dec. 24, according to police.
