UTICA, N.Y. – An explosion reported at an Applebee’s restaurant Tuesday evening sent fire crews rushing to the scene shortly after 6 p.m. Authorities determined that a nitrogen tank associated with a beer tap had toppled, leading to an accidental release of compressed gas.
