FDNY Investigating Small Explosions and Power Outages on Roosevelt Island
ROOSEVELT ISLAND, N.Y. — The FDNY is currently investigating a series of small explosions that have caused power outages on Roosevelt Island. The explosions were reported just before 6 a.m. and were also heard in the Upper East Side and Astoria, Queens.
