Charlotte, N.C. — Tragedy struck in Charlotte over the weekend when a 17-year-old was fatally shot, leading to the arrest of two other teenagers who now face murder charges, authorities said Monday.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed due to legal protections for minors, was found with gunshot wounds late Saturday night in a quieter suburb of the city. Despite rapid transport to a nearby hospital, the teenager succumbed to the injuries.
