AIKEN, S.C. – A tragic murder-suicide took place outside a gas station here on Monday, leaving an Augusta couple dead, authorities reported. According to Aiken Public Safety Capt. Marty Sawyer, 55-year-old George Britt shot his wife, 43-year-old Tiffany Britt, at the Murphy Express gas station on Richland Avenue where she worked. Augusta, Georgia – A tragic incident occurred on Sunday night in Augusta as a couple was discovered dead in an apparent murder-suicide. The Coroner’s Office responded to the scene on Holden Drive where 41-year-old Rebecca Williams and 43-year-old Michael Vincent Williams were found shot inside their residence.
