Augusta woman killed by husband at Aiken gas station in murder-suicide
AIKEN, S.C. – A tragic murder-suicide took place outside a gas station here on Monday, leaving an Augusta couple dead, authorities reported. According to Aiken Public Safety Capt. Marty Sawyer, 55-year-old George Britt shot his wife, 43-year-old Tiffany Britt, at the Murphy Express gas station on Richland Avenue where she worked.
