The victims, identified as 25-year-old Asia Ware and 31-year-old Charles Dark, were found deceased inside a vehicle involved in a collision. Evidence at the scene, including a mangled guardrail and damaged fence, indicates the severity of the crash, which occurred shortly after midnight on January 26.
San Bernardino police initially responded to the scene, but further investigation revealed that the crash was not just an accident but a deliberate act of violence. Authorities have charged 31-year-old Isaac Albert Perez, Asia Ware’s husband, with two counts of murder.
