Suspected love triangle ends in deadly San Bernardino crash

SAN BERNARDINO, CA – A fatal car crash in San Bernardino has left two people dead in what authorities are describing as a tragic turn in a suspected love triangle. The incident occurred at the intersection of Paris Hill Park Road and Pacific Street, where a memorial now stands to honor the lives lost.

The victims, identified as 25-year-old Asia Ware and 31-year-old Charles Dark, were found deceased inside a vehicle involved in a collision. Evidence at the scene, including a mangled guardrail and damaged fence, indicates the severity of the crash, which occurred shortly after midnight on January 26.

San Bernardino police initially responded to the scene, but further investigation revealed that the crash was not just an accident but a deliberate act of violence. Authorities have charged 31-year-old Isaac Albert Perez, Asia Ware’s husband, with two counts of murder. Perez allegedly confronted his wife and her alleged lover, believed to be her coworker, at Paris Hill Park before the fatal crash.

Police reports suggest that Perez pursued the pair, rear-ending their vehicle and causing it to veer off the road, crashing through a fence and into a flood channel. Perez was subsequently arrested and has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

In the aftermath, Ware’s family has spoken out, with her sister establishing a crowdfunding campaign to cover funeral expenses. The family describes Ware as a devoted mother of three who was trying to leave her husband. Court documents reveal that Ware had previously sought a restraining order against Perez in 2021, citing domestic violence, though the request was denied by a judge.

The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office is pursuing the case, while the coroner’s office has determined that both victims died from blunt force trauma. The tragic incident has sparked conversations about domestic violence and the challenges faced by those trying to escape abusive situations.

Charles Dark’s family has been contacted for comment, but no response has been received at this time. The community continues to mourn the loss of Ware and Dark, as the investigation into the circumstances of their deaths continues.
