Portland Man Arrested and Charged in Fatal Shooting of City Resident

Portland, Maine – A Portland man, Abdirahman Mahmoud, 36, was arrested and charged with murder in the fatal shooting of Raoul Mapendo Tshiyuka, 30.

The incident occurred when Portland police responded to a report of an injured man at 263 St. John St. Tshiyuka was found and taken to Maine Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
