PARKER, Colo. – Authorities in Parker, Colorado, are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle believed to be connected to a violent sexual assault in the area.
Police and detectives from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are urging the community to come forward with any information that may help identify the driver of the vehicle. The individual is suspected of either participating in the assault or witnessing the disturbing incident that took place on February 13 in the Pinery subdivision of Parker.
The victim was reportedly attacked while walking home in her neighborhood around 9:30 p.m. Authorities have released images of a newer model Ford F-150 pickup truck, although they acknowledge that the pictures are of poor quality due to being grainy and dark. Nevertheless, investigators hope that someone may recognize certain features of the vehicle that could aid in their investigation.
Detectives have noted that the truck in question is equipped with distinctive fog lights that are operational and positioned beneath the headlights. Additionally, the vehicle appears to have been raised or lifted from its original height.
Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact Detective Adam Cummings at acummings@dcsheriff.net.
