Progressives have frequently employed fear-mongering and propaganda to persuade voters to participate in elections. This fear-mongering often evolves into animosity towards conservatives. However, the current landscape is different. Progressives are now embarking on unfamiliar territory by openly using government institutions, notably the Department of Justice, to target their political adversaries. This departure from traditional American values is concerning.
Mike Huckabee talked about the issue during the opening monologue of his show “Huckabee” on TBS; the former Arkansas governor and ex-presidential candidate has raised an alarm. U.S. citizens would be wise to heed his words and spread this warning widely. Allowing progressives to continue their political persecution of former President Donald Trump might result in the 2024 U.S. election being the final one determined solely by votes.
Huckabee asked viewers to consider the methods employed by ruling powers in third-world dictatorships, banana republics, and communist regimes when dealing with their political adversaries. Huckabee says the playbook is simple: those in control manipulate law enforcement agencies to apprehend opposition members based on fabricated charges. This tactic aims to discredit, financially cripple, imprison, and exile them.
This might seem like hyperbole coming from a conservative commentator, but it isn’t. While it might sound like Huckabee refers to countries like Russia or China, he’s discussing the United States of America.
If you haven’t been following closely, Huckabee pointed out that Joe Biden is using certain tactics to prevent Donald Trump from running against him in 2024. This kind of authoritarian behavior, funded by taxpayers, is not what the United States should be experiencing. It’s important to be aware of these strategies and question whether they align with democratic values.
However, it is happening, and as Huckabee highlights, you—the taxpayer—are footing the bill for it. Whether you agree or not, you inadvertently contribute to the progressive agenda of transforming the U.S. into a one-party, totalitarian state.
Huckabee proceeds to present the readily apparent evidence for those willing to see. He discusses allegations involving the Biden family, including bribery, money laundering, and influence peddling. He also touches on credible government whistleblowers whose testimonies reveal a stark contrast in the treatment of Biden and Trump by the Department of Justice.
Huckabee notes that constitutional scholars, including Democrats Alan Dershowitz and Jonathan Turley, argue that the crimes Trump is charged with are not actually crimes.
It is evident that the Biden team, who might be characterized better as determined Marxists willing to resort to any means to weaken Western values, aims to defeat Trump in the courtroom so that he has no chance of winning the election.
“If these tactics end up working to keep Trump from winning or even running in 2024,” Huckabee predicted, “it is going to be the last American election that will be decided by ballots rather than bullets.”
If the progressives manage to unfairly block Trump from the presidency by any means necessary, Huckabee predicts that it could lead to a civil war. When the end justifies the means, as it does for Biden and his followers, ethics, morality, and virtue become irrelevant and are even seen as harmful.
If they only destroyed themselves, it would be fine, but to achieve their goals, they would have to destroy the Constitution, along with the country it was built on. Huckabee asked the viewers if they wanted to be complicit in that destruction.
In addition, Huckabee lists the Biden administration’s failures, including the economy, the border, energy independence, and more. He also highlights the corruption of the Biden family, who have made illicit money from China, Russia, and Ukraine.
The picture painted by Huckabee is not a pleasant one. It is not political exaggeration aimed at creating fear either. It is unfolding right before our eyes, and the progressives seem to think that the American people are too unintelligent to understand or simply don’t care.
Progressives disregard public opinion because they view themselves as the solution to societal issues, seeking to strip individuals of their decision-making abilities.
Some political progressives believe in controlling various aspects of people’s lives, such as the type of car they drive, the food they eat, and the type of stove they use for cooking. They desire to have complete power and control over everything. They aim to transform individuals into automatons who are merely part of a social experiment to achieve an ideal society.
Huckabee encourages his viewers not to fall for this and to pay attention because the coming election might be the most important one in recent history.
