Fatal Shooting of Four People Under Investigation by Orange Police in Beaumont

BEAUMONT, Texas – Police are investigating the shooting deaths of four people at a home on the city’s east side. The officers found four people dead inside a home in the 2400 block of North Eight St Monday morning. All four people appeared to have been fatally shot, according to Sgt. Keith Longlois, of the Orange Police Department.

The police were called at 7:51 a.m. Monday morning. The deaths are being investigated as homicides, and there is currently no danger to the public. Police have not released any names or ages of the victims and have not said if, or how, they may have been related. Earlier, police were awaiting a search warrant to enter the home to begin a full investigation.

Crime scene tape can be seen surrounding a small wood frame home on the residential street as police investigate about three blocks south of Interstate 10. Family members have gathered outside the home where police are working. Officials say they plan to release more information a few hours from now.
