The most recent tragedy unfolded on Sixth Street Southeast near the Meadowbrook Run Apartments shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday. A 17-year-old was killed and a 16-year-old was rushed to the hospital following a shooting. Earlier, another life was claimed in the Navy Yard area. A man was shot inside the Park Riverside apartment building on First Street Southeast.
