Berwyn Woman Faces Murder and Kidnapping Charges in Rockford Man’s Death

Chicago, Illinois – A woman from Berwyn is currently facing serious charges in connection to the death of a man from Rockford. Rosie Chavez, 46, has been charged with first-degree murder and felony kidnapping for allegedly using force or threats of force.

The victim, Crisoforo Osorio-Gonzalez, 36, was discovered deceased in a Little Village alley located near the 3600 block of West 26th Street on February 13. According to authorities, Chavez reportedly abducted the car salesman from Rockford during a test drive and ultimately took his life.
