Barber’s Tea Request Turns Deadly: Kills 2 Children in Uttar Pradesh Home Invasion

Lucknow, India: A barber in Uttar Pradesh’s Badaun entered the home of an acquaintance with whom he had a dispute and allegedly murdered his two children. The assailant was later shot dead by police in an encounter after attacking officers while trying to escape.

The incident caused tension in the city on Tuesday evening but authorities have since regained control of the situation. The man, identified as Sajid, operated a barbershop across from the victims’ residence and was acquainted with their father, Vinod.

According to police reports, Sajid entered the house and requested tea from the family. Once alone with the children on the terrace, he proceeded to fatally harm the two older brothers, Aayush and Ahaan, and also attacked the youngest sibling, Piyush, who sustained minor injuries.

Following the brutal attack, Sajid was apprehended nearby but attempted to assault the police, resulting in his death during the encounter. Authorities believe the motive behind the murders was an unresolved conflict with the children’s father.

Budaun District Magistrate Manoj Kumar confirmed the police’s awareness of the crime and subsequent protests by locals. Kumar urged the public to maintain calm and peace in the wake of the tragic events.
