Assam CM Vows to Take Down Land Mafia: Promises Action Against Illegal Occupations

Assam, India – Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma reassured a local resident that the government would not spare the Land Mafia responsible for illegally occupying homes in the area. This statement came during a recent interaction where the resident reported her house being taken over without authorization.

In another development, the NEFT system achieved a new milestone on February 29, 2024, with a record-breaking 4,10,61,337 transactions processed in a single day, according to the Reserve Bank of India.
