The victim recounted being grazed in the leg by six bullets striking his car on his commute to work. The responding officer captured the aftermath on body camera footage, noting the severity of the situation, “It looks like they were trying to kill you.” The unexpected attack shook the victim, who thought it was just another ordinary day before chaos ensued.
The altercation began at 7 a.m. on April 11 when the victim was cut off by a white pickup truck near Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Holcomb Bridge Road. The tension escalated when the victim drove beside the truck to confront the driver, triggering a hail of bullets shortly after. Witnesses revealed that the bullets flew past the victim’s car near Crown Plaza, emphasizing the danger of the situation.
Authorities identified the shooter as 26-year-old Lisandro Pacheco, who fled the scene in the white pickup truck before the victim notified the police. Despite a harrowing ordeal, the victim narrowly survived as a bullet ricocheted in his vehicle, grazing his leg. Quick action by Gwinnett and Norcross police led to Pacheco’s arrest later that day. Currently, Pacheco faces charges of aggravated assault and other offenses while being held without bond.
