Youth Charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm at Corner Brook Intermediate School

CORNER BROOK, Newfoundland – Two juveniles are facing charges following an alleged assault on a fellow student at Corner Brook Intermediate School on Thursday, Feb. 1. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary responded to a disturbance at the school and found a male youth who had been assaulted. Emergency services treated his non-life-threatening injuries, and he was then taken to the hospital for further evaluation.

The incident resulted in the charging of a male youth with assault causing bodily harm and a female youth with assault. Both accused individuals have been released and are set to appear in provincial court at a later date. The RNC confirmed that the assault took place within the school premises.
