Weekend at Biden’s: The Tax Scandal Party at Camp David

The White House took some heat on Saturday after it was reported that President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, would be joining him at Camp David despite recently pleading guilty to federal tax charges and agreeing to a plea deal on a felony gun charge.

On Thursday, the House Ways and Means Committee released its interview with an IRS whistleblower from last month who supplied a WhatsApp message from 2017 in which Hunter Biden had assured a Chinese business associate that he and his father would guarantee he would regret not following Hunters’ directives.

Gary Shapley, an IRS whistleblower, claimed that in a message to the director of Harvest Fund Management, Hunter Biden said he and his father were sitting together and wanted to know why the commitment had not been fulfilled.

Conservatives on Twitter noted the coincidence between the news of the disclosures and the father and son’s trip to Camp David.

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, tweeted this week federal government whistleblowers allege massive DOJ/FBI corrupt obstruction to protect Hunter and the Biden family. And Biden regime sweetheart plea deal with Hunter was announced. Joe Biden’s response? Bring Hunter to WH for a State Dinner and then to Camp David for the weekend with him.

A prominent Substack writer tweeted that Hunter and Joe Biden retreated to Camp David with their lawyers for the weekend. Will Biden throw his son overboard to save his presidency?

A GOP communicator, Steve Guest, tweeted asking ‘lots of business to discuss?’

Reporter Chuck Ross tweeted taking a tax cheat and gun felon with him on a trip where he would discuss high-level international events.

New York Post columnist Miranda Devine tweeted that it was strange to go to Camp David for such a short time, maybe to have confidential discussions with unknown legal advisers in a heavily guarded place away from prying eyes.

Despite accumulating evidence that he, in fact, has met over a dozen of Hunter Biden’s business associates, President Biden consistently claims that he never talks to his son about foreign business deals.

A whistleblower testimony was released two days after Hunter Biden made a deal with his father’s Justice Department to plead guilty to two misdemeanor counts for not paying federal income taxes on at least $3 million he earned through international business ventures. A separate charge of firearm possession by an unauthorized user or addict of a controlled substance was dismissed in exchange for his participation in a pretrial diversion program.

Journalist Charlie Spiering tweeted, true to form, Biden left the White House for his weekend at Camp David, despite turmoil in Russia. Hunter Biden was also spotted boarding Marine One with him.

On Thursday night, Hunter was a guest at the White House state dinner for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his wife, in addition to joining his father at Camp David. Footage showed Hunter Biden mingling with notable guests.

On Friday, reporters asked White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about Hunter’s visit, and she declined to address the family dynamics.

The White House did not respond to a request for comment.
