SAN FERNANDO, CALIFORNIA – A woman was violently attacked and robbed of her purse while walking home in San Fernando earlier this week after purchasing flowers for her mother. The incident, which took place on Monday afternoon on Park Avenue, has left the community on edge as law enforcement searches for the suspect.
The victim, Juliana Murillo, recounted the terrifying ordeal of being pushed to the ground by a man as she was entering her apartment after buying flowers for her mother’s birthday. Surveillance cameras captured the attack, showing Murillo struggling with the assailant in an attempt to hold onto her purse before he fled in a dark-colored vehicle.
