Union Minister Chandrashekhar Blames Congress Government for Rameshwaram Cafe Explosion Connection with ‘Pakistan Zindabad’ Incident

Bengaluru, India – Union Minister Rajeev Chandrashekhar criticized the Siddaramaiah-led Congress government for its handling of the Rameshwaram cafe explosion in Bengaluru. Chandrashekhar suggested a potential link between the recent “Pakistan Zindabad” slogans and the subsequent explosion at the cafe.

Chandrashekhar expressed concern over the rise in violence and instability following the slogans raised, pointing to the explosion at Rameshwaram cafe as a manifestation of this concerning trend. The incident left several individuals injured and raised questions about public safety in the region.

The Union Minister further criticized top ministers in Karnataka for what he deemed as a failure to drive development and address critical issues like rising electricity prices and water scarcity. He highlighted a perceived increase in corruption and lack of progress under the current government’s leadership.

Referring to the injured individuals at Rameshwaram cafe, Chandrashekhar raised concerns about the impact of appeasement politics on everyday citizens. He underscored the importance of holding accountable those responsible for the explosion and ensuring justice for the victims.

In response to allegations of slowing down the investigation, Chandrashekhar accused the Congress government of hindering progress by overlooking key evidence and dismissing potential links to the earlier slogans. He criticized the government for what he saw as a lack of commitment to addressing the root causes of the explosion.

In a show of support for the victims, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah visited those injured in the blast and promised to cover their medical expenses. He also visited the site of the explosion, emphasizing the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of its citizens.
