Two Dead, One Injured in Whittier Shooting: Police Active in Investigation

WHITTIER, Calif. – A shooting early Sunday in Whittier left two people dead and another in critical condition, according to police. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Lambert Road and Painter Avenue, a busy commercial area with gas stations, fast food restaurants, and auto repair shops.

Police arrived at the scene to find a man with gunshot wounds in critical condition. Shortly after, two other shooting victims were discovered in a travel trailer parked in the lot of an auto repair shop nearby. Sadly, both men were declared dead at the scene.
