Trial Reveals Intricate Details Surrounding Pregnant Woman’s Tragic Death in Dayton Home

Perth, Australia – The trial of Hassan W Jabbie, accused of murdering pregnant Janet Dweh in October 2021, has taken a turn as new details have emerged in the case. Dweh, eight months pregnant at the time, was found beaten to death in her Dayton home, sparking a trial that has captured public attention.

Prosecutors allege that Jabbie killed Dweh because she refused to have an abortion and was planning to reveal their affair, along with the fact that he was the father of her unborn child, to others. Evidence presented in court includes DNA test results confirming Jabbie as the father, as well as the discovery of a claw hammer stained with Dweh’s blood near Jabbie’s residence.

In a recent development, the trial heard from Gibson Koffa Jarwee, who testified about his relationship with Dweh. Jarwee, who became friends with Dweh in 2020, recounted visiting her home on the day she was believed to have been killed but received no response. CCTV footage was shown in court, depicting Jarwee’s visits to Dweh’s home leading up to the alleged murder.

Jarwee denied allegations presented by defense lawyer Sean Dworcan that he was romantically involved with Dweh and instead insisted that they shared a friendship due to their common language and Liberian community ties in Perth. However, questions arose regarding Jarwee’s inquiries about the father of Dweh’s child before her death, prompting a closer examination of their relationship.

Additionally, footage revealed Jarwee’s presence at Dweh’s home on the day of her death, raising suspicions during the trial. Despite the circumstantial evidence, Jarwee maintained his innocence and denied any involvement in Dweh’s murder.

As the trial proceeds, more details are expected to come to light regarding the tragic death of Janet Dweh and the events leading up to her murder. The courtroom drama continues to unfold as justice is sought for the victim and answers are sought regarding the circumstances surrounding her untimely demise.
