Tragic Early Morning House Fire Claims Three Lives in Butler County

Rose Hill, Kansas – Tragedy struck early Saturday morning when a house fire claimed the lives of three individuals, as confirmed by Butler County Undersheriff Daimon Cundiff.

The distressing incident occurred around 3 a.m. near 15000 SW County Line Road, situated along the border of Sedgwick County and Butler County, to the north of Rose Hill.

Upon arrival at the scene, emergency responders managed to rescue one occupant from the burning home, who was rushed to a nearby hospital but tragically succumbed to their injuries. Additionally, two more individuals were discovered within the residence and pronounced deceased on-site.

Efforts are currently underway to identify the victims as authorities work diligently to piece together the events leading up to the fatal fire.

The investigation into this heartbreaking incident will be spearheaded by the Augusta Department of Safety in conjunction with the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.
