Tragedy Unfolds at Edmond Dispensary: Woman Fatally Stabbed in Vicious Attack, Suspect in Custody

Edmond, Okla. — A violent incident at a local marijuana dispensary left a woman dead on Friday morning, prompting a swift response from law enforcement. The stabbing occurred at the Kush House dispensary on South Broadway shortly before 10 a.m., when a coworker called 911 to report the attack.

Dispatch audio revealed the gravity of the situation as the witness described the chaotic scene, indicating that a female coworker was being assaulted. Officers arrived at the establishment and found 24-year-old Telah Jackson suffering from severe injuries, including multiple stab wounds to her abdomen and back. She was quickly transported to a nearby hospital but succumbed to her injuries shortly thereafter.

Edmond Police spokesperson Emily Ward characterized the attack as “targeted” and noted its severity. “It was a very vicious attack,” she said, assuring the community that it was an isolated incident.
