Three Dead in Murder-Suicide Tragedy Unfolding in Delaware Home

MAGNOLIA, DELAWARE – Authorities are currently investigating a tragic murder-suicide that took place in a home in Magnolia on Monday evening, resulting in the deaths of three individuals. The incident unfolded at a residence along the 100 block of Cilento Drive, where law enforcement officers responded to reports of gunfire around 6:18 p.m.

Upon arrival, responders discovered a 38-year-old woman outside the property with gunshot wounds. Despite attempts to save her, the woman succumbed to her injuries. Inside the residence, a 43-year-old man was found shot to death, while a 49-year-old male, believed to be the perpetrator, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The investigation revealed that the suspected shooter reached out to a family member, confessing to the murders of his wife and her boyfriend before indicating his intention to end his own life. Fortunately, three children present in the home during the incident were unharmed.
