Teen Brutally Assaulted and Stabbed by Group of Peers at L.A. Beach, Mother Describes Horrific Attack

Los Angeles, CA – On February 10th, a 16-year-old boy was viciously assaulted, stabbed, and robbed by a group of teenagers at Dockweiler State Beach. The teen, a resident of Hawthorne, was left with serious injuries after being beaten, kicked, and stabbed multiple times during the ordeal.

According to the victim’s mother, identified only as Frankie, the attack was captured on video and shows the teen being ambushed by five to seven assailants. The footage is graphic and shows the brutality of the assault, leaving the victim with a punctured lung, a concussion, and other serious injuries that required intensive care.

The incident occurred when the victim went to the beach to attend a party that was promoted on social media. While trying to help a friend involved in a dispute, the victim was confronted by one of the attackers, leading to a violent altercation. The attack escalated as more teens joined in, making racist and homophobic remarks while inflicting further harm.

Frankie believes that the attack may have been a gang initiation, as references to a gang were heard during the assault. She expressed concern over videos of the attack circulating in local schools, potentially putting her son at risk of further harm.

As the investigation into the attack continues, the Los Angeles Police Department has stated that they are aware of the video footage and are actively looking into the incident. In the meantime, a GoFundMe page has been set up to assist the family with medical expenses and the possibility of relocating to ensure the safety of the victim.

The traumatic event has left the victim with physical and emotional scars, with Frankie emphasizing the need to move her family out of the area for their protection. The family is now faced with a long road to recovery, both physically and mentally, as they try to cope with the aftermath of the brutal assault.
