Local Neighbor Charged with Abandoning Cat at West Islip Marina
WEST ISLIP, New York – A man from Lindenhurst has been accused of trapping his neighbor’s cat and abandoning it at the West Islip marina, according to the Suffolk County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The society reported that 17-year-old Toby was trapped and left by the water. Fortunately, a good Samaritan found the cat after the incident.
