NORTH BATTLEFORD, SK – A man has been sentenced to nine years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter in the death of Boyd Firingstoney. Javon Moosomin, 24, was originally charged with second degree murder, but entered a guilty plea to the lesser charge at the Court of King’s Bench in Battleford on Dec. 7, 2023.
