Prosecutors have not finished challenging U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon’s handling of the case. The Justice Department is attempting to expedite its appeal of a ruling that delayed its investigation into documents seized at former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

Trump is granted a reprieve on his lodging objections to the FBI’s Mar-a-Lago inventory. Judge Aileen Cannon overruled special master Raymond Dearie’s deadline after the former president’s attorneys objected that he lacked the jurisdiction to establish it.
