Suspected Shooter Dances and Flashes Cash Before Ambushing Victim in Harris County Gas Station Dispute

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas – A shocking incident occurred at a gas station in north Harris County, where a man was ambushed and shot multiple times following a verbal disagreement. Investigators from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are seeking public assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for the attack on 30-year-old Gary Houston on December 20.

Surveillance video captured the suspect, wearing a yellow cap, flaunting a wad of cash and dancing inside a store on Aldine Bender less than an hour before the shooting took place. The footage also shows the suspect in the company of a group of men outside the store, and later hiding in the shadows at the gate of Haverstock Hills apartments before opening fire on Houston.

The victim’s mother, Alanka Houston, expressed her distraught at the cowardly attack, stating, “Those cowards shot my son in the back four times.” Tragically, nobody has been arrested in connection to the shooting.
