State Bomb Squad Investigates Explosion in Meriden Storm Drain, Finds Device Not Explosive

MERIDEN, Connecticut – The state bomb squad hurried to the scene in Meriden on Monday evening following reports of an explosion in a storm drain. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. near Cross Street and Women’s Way, as detailed by Lieutenant Darrin McKay of the local police department.
