Sister of Murdered Man Calls for Justice and Offers Reward in Renewed Appeal for Information

Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland – The sister of Glenn Quinn, who was tragically murdered four years ago, is demanding justice for her brother as the police make a renewed appeal for information on his killing.

Glenn Quinn was found dead in his home on January 4th, 2020, after being attacked by a group of men. Detective Inspector Gina Quinn described the attack as “shocking and brutal,” emphasizing that Glenn, a defenseless man, was left to die a slow and painful death from serious injuries.

As the fourth anniversary of Glenn’s death approaches, the police have increased the reward for information leading to the arrest of his killers to £40,000. A portion of the reward is offered by the charity Crimestoppers, and an anonymous donor has contributed an additional £20,000. The increased reward is a testament to the ongoing efforts to seek justice for Glenn and his family.

In an emotional plea, Glenn’s sister, Lesley Murphy, urged the community to come forward with any information they may have. She emphasized the kindness and gentle nature of her brother and the impact of his violent death on their family and the entire community. She appealed to witnesses to do the right thing and help bring closure to the family.

Detective Inspector Quinn reiterated the importance of speaking up, reminding the public that information can be passed to Crimestoppers with complete anonymity. The charity echoed the sentiment, emphasizing their guarantee of complete anonymity for anyone providing information.

The Quinn family, along with the police, continue to seek justice for Glenn as they plead for the community’s assistance in bringing his killers to justice. The increased reward serves as a reminder of the ongoing efforts to find closure for the family and the community affected by this tragic loss.
